2006 Fall Team Championship

The St. Andrews of America. With 8 outstanding golf courses, Pinehurst has been considered the home of golf in America. Pinehurst #2 was the host of the 1999 and 2005 U.S. Open Champoinships and will be the site of the 2006 Friars Fall Team Champoinship. Here is your opportunity to play a competitive round on one of the 10 greatest golf courses in the world. A 2nd tournament round will be played on Pinehurst #4, which is their next highest rated course. And, then to top things off, our Sunday Practice Round will be played on the Donald Ross Design Pinehurst #1. Yes, this will be for the golfer, of whatever skill level, who wants to experience the game as it was intended to be played. For the sheer sport of it.

Golf Trip To Ireland - 2007

Once again, we are planning a terrific summer Golf Trip to Ireland. Set for August of next year, we'll be playing some of the finest links courses in the world. Oour Golf Trip to Scotland this August filled up almost immediately. We want to give you a heads-up very early this time, so that you can plan your schedule.

This itinerary of courses is, in fact, what I think the very best that all of our Ireland and Scotland Golf Trips play. It simply is the best. We'll be playing Royal Portrush (Dunluce & Valley Courses) - Portstewart - Royal County Down - Druids Glen - Portmarnock - The European Club. Tentative dates are August 8 - 18th of 2007.

Because these trips are limited to 16 men, let me hear from you if you are seriously interested. No deposits will be required at this time; however. we must know if we have the interest to book this outstanding golf trip. The Friars have had summer golf trips to Ireland and Scotland for almost 10 years now and this itinerary is the #1 of all the trips that we've taken.

Bay Hill Recap

When Arnold Palmer loaned his home overlooking the 18th green of the Bay Hill Course to the 84 Friars attending the Spring Shootout - 2006, it gauranteed that an othewise terrific time would be even better. For 3 days, old friendships were renewed and new friendships were made. Each evening, the participants gathered at Mr. Palmer's home for refreshments, cards, cigars of the patio and loads of laughter. The atmosphere for a great time could not have been better.
