Club Notes Holes-In-One Kurt Lechner: made his first ace on the Santa Teresa Golf Course in San Jose, CA on December 17th using his 56 degree sand wedge on the 3rd hole 97 yard par-3. John Dudzinski: made the 5th ace of his career on the par-3 #13th hole (158 yards) at the Lake Jovits North Course in Dade City, FL on February 23rd. John felt bad reporting his ace to his brother and fellow member of The Friars, Chet, who is still looking for his 1st hole-in-one. Mark Mellinger: Now this is for the Record Books! Mark made his 1st hole-in-one on the PAR 4#13 hole on the Phil Mickelson course at Whisper Rock in Scottsdale, AZ on April 18th. Mark, naturally, used his Driver on this 306 yard long hole. FANTASTIC. |

Spring Shootout at Innisbrook Recap The Friars Spring Shootout - 2007 was held at the Innisbrook Resort in Florida in early May. The venue, the men, the golf, the good weather, and the good time could not have been better. Well, maybe some of the golf could have been. As the pictures on the back cover of this newsletter show, everyone had a terrific time. The 2-story Hospitality Suite (previously used by Vijay Singh and Elvis) was as spectacular a spot to get together as we've ever had at a Friars outing.
